In partnership with TED, Georgia College’s Leadership Programs are bringing TEDx to Georgia College and to Milledgeville.
Join us for TEDxGeorgiaCollege, Friday, October 17th, in historic Russell Auditorium on the Georgia College campus.
TEDx is a grassroots initiative, created in the spirit of TED’s overall mission to research and discover “ideas worth spreading.” TEDx brings the spirit of TED to local communities around the globe through TEDx events. These events are organized by passionate individuals who seek to uncover new ideas and to share the latest research in their local areas that spark conversations in their communities.

Within Georgia College pulses the transformative power of a spark. That initial flash—brief yet brilliant—can ignite possibilities and illuminate new ways of thinking. A spark can leap from a revolutionary idea or smolder quietly before kindling personal transformation. When minds connect in our community, electric currents of conversation challenge assumptions, disrupting comfortable patterns and generating unexpected innovation. We spark curiosity, fan the flames of creativity, and tend to the embers of nascent ideas until they blaze into purposeful action. Join us for TEDxGeorgiaCollege as we spark imagination, spark change, and spark ideas that reach far beyond our community.

When Russell Auditorium first opened its doors in 1926, it was hailed one of the most elegant venues in Georgia. From college assemblies and famed Golden Slipper contests, Russell is where Jessies, Colonials, and Bobcats have gathered across a century.
